For the Romanian academic and research environment, the topic of Europeanization of public administration is relatively new, its debate and profound study within the framework of our conference offering the premises of identifying new directions for theoretical and empirical research.

The International Conference “The Impact of Europeanization on the Public Administration” will be held in Bucharest, at the Palace of the Parliament of Romania - "Nicolae Balcescu" Hall , during 25 -26 May 2007.

Themes

The main themes to be approached and debated during the Conference will be as follows:

• Europeanization, integration and public administration reform;
• Interdisciplinary approaches of the impact of Europeanization on the Romanian Public Administration;
• The European Administrative Space – standard of Europeanization of public administration.

The following events will be also organised:

• Applicative Session on „ Projects proposed by participants in the 7 th Framework Programme of the European Union ” ;
• Round table on the topic: „ National and European inter-academic cooperation in administrative research. Realities and perspectives ”.
